About wooden lids

For our candles we use wooden lids made of recycled wood.  What does it mean?

The production of wooden lids does not use first-class wood but recycled wood, residues from furniture industries.

This is not garbage, but a tree with knots or that does not fit the size for making furniture. Absolutely alive and unique.

Natural wood as it is, without bright paints and varnishes.

Due to our friends in Ukraine, this wood does not turn into coals, but acquires a new life.

The tree is very fragile, especially if it gets water. To preserve the health and ensure the life of the wooden lids, we recommend  wiping them with natural oil once a month. Coconut/hemp/soybean oil are well suited.

It tactilely preserves the texture and looks natural.
